About Ashley

Ashley is a New York based artist born and raised in Houston, Texas. She has a passion for storytelling and new play development that she hopes to use to tell stories that inspire thought and give a voice to the voiceless. In 2017, she graduated cum laude with a BFA in Acting from Texas State University.  Three short months after graduating, she moved to the Big Apple; this would be the first time she lived anywhere besides The Great State of Texas.

In the spring of 2019 she completed a nine month long apprenticeship  with the Professional Training Company at the Actors Theatre of Louisville. While she was there she performed in the 2019 Humana Festival's production of Everybody Black by Dave Harris. Ashley also found her passion for writing in Louisville. She wrote and performed her solo piece Mona Lisa Dubois Perkins Frankenstein X which she hopes to develop into a full length production.

Aside from acting and performing, Ashley is a self-professed karaoke queen and you can find her singing along to one of Beyonce's many hits. She has a knack for rapping and freestyling!
